ALL THINGS DISNEY

Let’s talk Disney… before we even start understand: this is just me waxing poetically about a place I love. If you want real Disney Bloggers there are two I follow who know everything there is to know … They are linked below:

I truly have no idea when the amazement began.

I know I went once as a child that I do not remember at all but there is an AMAZING picture of my sister Cathy at the entry to Magic Kingdom looking less than pleased.

Then there was a time we drove with my niece Sara shortly after Epcot opened and that’s my first real Disney memory! I think summer of fifth grade because I did a project on Hydroponics in sixth. Greenhouses that grew plants in the air, a purple dragon, and a boat ride through Norway…SIGN ME UP!!!!

A few year later we went again. That was also the trip my parents put me in an enrichment class, and I got to go into the utilidors. Yup…that may have been the beginning of the obsession. Utilidors!!!

The next Disney experience was ten nights and 11 days for my honeymoon. Blizzard Beach was being built and Animal Kingdom didn’t exist yet in 1994.

At some point I returned when my nieces were dancing

Hunter was five where I fell in love with a hippo at Animal Kingdom…yup…my now favourite animal because of that trip.

Then it became a mishmash of when we could go.

I went to Disney for a Body Shop conference in 2006, but we didn’t go to a park but Downtown Disney and Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Again missed the park but went to Downtown Disney with my parents in 2015 when Hunter got a Coast Guard Lego

Hunter and I went to Magic Kingdom with a work friend in (Legoland and Islands of Adventure were also part of that trip)

We went with The Fox in 2017 and experienced Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time.

Then I went to Disneyland and California Adventure for one day on 2019.

The Fox and I returned to Disney for a girls weekend in 2021 and danced around the post COVID Boo Bash and Epcot.

During my 2022 summer in Cali, I spent three weeks in Anaheim and entered the parks three times with several other visits to Downtown Disney.

And this past summer I went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot with long time friend, first time meeting, Dani.

Plans to return to Land and CA for next summer.

So I’ve been a bit but not as much as other but more than many.

I love Disney. I have a hard time sitting still and Disney gives me that pre-planned relaxed I know what to do next good feeling.
