Seconds With Steff

We started today with breakfast at a restaurant that was suggested by last night’s waiter. Hunter got a bagel and a scrambled eggs, but wait to you get the picture of what I got! We then quickly hit the Flagstaff Visitor Center to get our passport stamped.

We then headed about an hour and 10 minutes north to the Grand Canyon. Once again there are no words. There are pictures that do not do it justice, but there are absolutely no words. Enjoy the pictures.

After the Grand Canyon, we headed down to a town called Williams which holds a fantastic drive and walk through zoo called Bearizona. I have to be completely honest… I was not expecting much, I was completely wrong.

We then went into Williams where we were able to get our passport stamped again, but I learned I had just missed David by about two or three hours. We then headed for our final destination for the day, Seligman (the major inspiration for Radiator Springs). Before exploring the town, which we could truly drive around like it was Radiator Springs, we had to get our passport stamped at The Roadkill Café which was themed appropriately but weirdly cool. Upon having our passport stamped, I heard a voice say “you’re just following me.” You got it… our buddy David was waiting at the bar for me. Hunter and I did explore Seligman for a bit, but we went back and had dinner at The Roadkill with both the owner and David. A wonderfully fantastic amazing Route 66 evening
