This is not some ordinary hotel…it is an experience! Although now a Curio Collection by Hilton, this hotel holds an enormous amount of history and worth all the money I spent on the most expensive night in a hotel I have ever booked. If you want to do this I suggest you become a Hilton member immediately.
Although my official check in was 4:00, I was given a room upon my 9:00 am arrival. HUGE TREAT! The staff was insanely professional and kind. Once settled, I made my way to The Ice House Museum for a tour of this famous hotel. I spent some time on the beach, walked to the Naval base (saw some great houses), and sat on the front porch for the Front Porch Swing – The Del’s weekly celebration of its storied past. I ate dinner was at a couple of restaurants over several hours and everything was delicious. Click below to come along on this amazing experience
