I’m pretty sure I became aware of the power of doors the first time I heard of Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door Spa. Then one day in Malibu there was a corner where there was this door, and it just was beautiful. I took a picture and from then on I just kept noticing them. So it’s been about five years of me noticing and taking pictures of doors… That first one in Malibu I absolutely love but my favorite is in this collection from Santa Fe… It was the only do I catch a picture of and it was on the corner of a very busy street across from an office complex and I literally had to pull into a parking lot and walk to the corner at the stoplight and take a picture. It was just too beautiful to pass up. The doors that lead to other doors or gates that lead to doors are my absolute favorite. What do you love to catch glimpses of?
