Everyone who has driven Highway One told me I had to stop at a restaurant called Nepenthe‘s. During my first trip in 2019, I would be driving past before they opened at 11:30, so instead I stopped at the outdoor café that serves crazy amazing delicious breakfast,
On my return trip, I drove straight to Nepenthe straight from the airport to finally have their famous Ambrosia Burger… and it did NOT disappoint.
And the next morning, I drove from Carmel back to Cafe Kevah to have a repeat of that amazing breakfast! And when you’re done eating, slip into The Phoenix Shop for some unique finds!
Oh, and did I mention the views? I mean, they’re just okay…
