The Wilds is an experience that is not to be missed.

Quick Summary: repeated on the Columbus Zoo Link… My ex-husband and I took Hunter on a trip to The Columbus Zoo and The Wilds for his 18th Birthday because of his love of Secrets of the Zoo on Disney+.

We took two safaris, both the Open Air Safari and the Wildside Tour where we were able to get up close and personal with so many amazing animals! If you have to choose, take the Wildside Tour as you do everything that is done on the open Air Safaris but in a more personal way. These are pictures from both of the tours.

Overnight at The Outpost

What an amazing facility! Once we were driven to the Outpost, we did not leave. With out own tent and more space than we knew what to do with, we enjoyed the rhinos as they bedded down for the night, roasted smores, relaxed by a fire, and watched bats fly way too closely for my liking.
