I grew up with believing that Dim Sum was essentially a meatball inside of an open-faced pasta. Completely deliious. So when I when to Great Eastern for lunch I saw all these yummy looking dishes that were called Dim Sum! I had a fast lesson that dim sum is basically tapas or appetizer. I chose three to nosh on and ordered Mushroom, Pork, and Shrimp Dumplings, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, and Shrimp Paste Stuffed Eggplant…. I still dream about that eggplant…just so so so good!
