Ok, first, I am cheating on this site… All words that don’t sound like me are from the Getty Villa website or villa itself, especially the info off the art placards!
OK, so the Villa is really two different things: 1- the building that houses the at and 2- the art.
The building is a the Villa, a recreation of a Roman country house based on ancient examples
The art is, well, WOW! The Art!
