I entered the The Blind Rabbit through sake barrels into the coolest 500 square feet I’ve ever seen. An actual speakeasy specializing in craft cocktails, I basically put my bartender in charge of my night and OMG! He made me two drinks that weren’t on the menu when I proclaimed tequila but sweet. Then he suggested the steak for dinner, and it was ridiculous. With a side of chimichurri and broccoli (yup…even the broccoli was unreal). Then…lastly…bread pudding for dessert. You guessed it… Best Bread Pudding ever. Even better than Christiana Campbell’s Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg which until that moment was my all time favourite. When my 90 minute prescribed time was over, I egressed through a bookshelf.
