When I took The Warner Brothers Tour in 2019, the tour guide mentioned that behind the studio is a restaurant called The Smoke House. Not only is it an old Hollywood favourite, he proclaimed, but George Clooney ate there so much during ER, that he name his production company, Smoke House Productions.
So when I went back in 2022, On my last night before coming home, I wandered in to sit at the bar and have a drink. That was the entire plan. There was a lady sitting next to me at said bar and she was typing away on her laptop. Of course we got to talking and struck up an instant friendship…yup… still friends. We danced, and ate, and drank, and 99.9% sure we saw some hired companionship, and we shut down the bar.
When Hunter and I completed Route 66, the night before we went back to New York, we met up with Ashley at The Smoke House!
Literally the best strak of my life!
Served with a roasted red pepper sauce.
Stuffed with crab meat, baked, and topped with béarnaise sauce.
