When I first entered Disneyland, I remember thinking, meh… I grew up on the Florida ideal of the property! We all know that Land is small and cramped. When planning World, Walt bought up as much Florida swampland as possible. So, I was not ready to love Land as much as I do… My first impression was, I’m a World Girl! After all, more land to build upon and EPCOT and waterparks and Flight of Passage , but during my First Trip to Land, a cast member asked how I was liking it when he saw my First Time button and I replied, “I’m a World Girl”. I promptly became and Honorary Citizen for the Day and it softened me to allow it into my Floridian predisposition, and it has quickly taken up space in my heart. My recent visit to Magic Kingdom even had me confused when I arrived at where Buzz Lightyear’s Space ranger Spin SHOULD be only to realize, my brain was in Land … moral of the story: I really love Disneyland/California Adventure… click pics for more…
